KOLKATA, Oct 2: West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari on Friday said that he will watch the much-anticipated India-Brazil international football friendly from the stadium here on October 3, as the city braces for the historic clash between the two sides. The tie, scheduled to kick off at 7:30 pm at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan, popularly known as Salt Lake Stadium, is being billed as one of the biggest international football fixtures hosted in India. "I will attend the India-Brazil match at Salt Lake Stadium," Adhikari said at a forest department programme at Alipurduar in the northern part of the state. |
