Jammu/Samba, Oct 4: In a dazzling display of talent, joy and boundless enthusiasm, Humanity Public School, Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana transformed into a hub of celebration as it hosted the much-awaited YTS (Youth Talent Search) Event for the Session 2026-27. The entire campus buzzed with excitement, colours and cheer, as tiny tots took centre stage and won hearts with their innocence, energy and brilliance in the school premises.
The entire show was steered with elegance and charm by Mrs. Nirmal Kour, whose graceful and captivating anchoring kept the audience spellbound throughout. The programme commenced on an auspicious note with the ceremonial Lighting of the Lamp, followed by a warm Presentation of Bouquet to the dignitaries as a token of respect and gratitude.
A warm Welcome Address was delivered, which was followed by a melodious Welcome Song presented by the choir group of Class 5th that enthralled everyone and set a cheerful tone for the day.
The event was graced by Mr. Umesh Kumar Sharma, Zonal Physical Education Officer, Purmandal and R.S. Pura, as the Chief Guest, who was warmly welcomed by the school management.
The pulse of the event, the sports arena, was flawlessly managed by the dynamic Sports Incharge Mr. Mahan Singh along with the dedicated team of sports teachers of Humanity Public School. Their tireless efforts, perfect discipline and impeccable planning infused energy and excitement, making the event a resounding success.
Adding strength and support to the grand celebration, the academic pillars of the school - Primary Wing Incharge Mrs. Vandana Sharma, Coordinator Ms. Sonu Bala and teachers Mrs. Meena Sharma and Mrs. Badushi Devi remained vibrantly present, cheering the tiny tots and extending their wholehearted cooperation to make the day truly memorable.
The event unfolded with thrilling contests that kept everyone spellbound. An electrifying Inter-School 40m Race for Class 1st showcased speed and stamina, while a thought-provoking. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 8 reputed schools, namely Humanity Public School, S.D. Tara Puri Public High School, Alexander Memorial High School, Bhagwati Haqiquat Memorial School, Bikram Memorial Public School, J.K. Montessorie Sr. Sec. School, Playway House High Secondary School and Elite Public School.
The students of Humanity Public School exhibited exceptional talent and brought laurels to the school. In the Inter-School 40m Race, Shivansh from HPS bagged the 1st position and Divansh from HPS secured the 2nd position with remarkable speed and true sportsman spirit.

The winners were felicitated amid thunderous applause during the grand Prize Distribution Ceremony.
In his inspiring and heartfelt address, Chief Guest Mr. Umesh Kumar Sharma highly appreciated Humanity Public School for organizing such a magnificent and meaningful platform like YTS for the little ones. He lauded the visionary management, dedicated staff and excellent infrastructure of the school, which was reflected in the flawless arrangements and vibrant participation. He stressed that such events played a vital role in nurturing confidence, discipline and all-round development from an early age and congratulated the school for setting a benchmark in holistic education.
