Students also presented a skit in which they highlighted that clean and reliable energy is required both for the present as well as for the future for the industrial development and for all other operations and daily activities, but we should be watchful on its consumption, so as to reduce its adverse impact on the environment.
An inter-school and inter college Poster Making and Slogan writing Competition on the theme of UN SDG-7 was also organized, where students creatively expressed their understanding of UN SDG-7, sustainability, clean and affordable energy, reinforcing the message of building a safer and sustainable future.
In the Youth Connect which was organized prior to Walkathon, Smt. While motivating the students, she said that, as the future professionals of the country, they have the responsibility of making this country and the world as a whole, better and beautiful, by practising standards and adopting sustainable practices. Dr. Gaurave, Principal, GGSCP encouraged students to make small efforts to reduce their household energy consumption every month to see a big change in their electricity bills after a few months.
