Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 8: The Central Govt Pensioners' Welfare Association, Jammu (CGPWA) has taken some of the dirty spots of Jammu city for cleaning under the Government of India's Special Campaign for the disposal of pending matters (SCDPM 6.0) and institutionalizing cleanliness from October 2 to October 31, 2026. Swachhta is its core component which provides for intensive cleanliness and shramdaan public touchpoints. The members of the CGPWA with the help of the members of the BALGRAN and students of the Bal Bharti Public School, Channi-Rama, Jammu cleared many points within and out side the complex today. It included the huge dump in the backyard and the drain outside the boundary wall at the entry point. Those who did shramdaan included President BALGRAN V K Raina, General Secretary Er V K Gupta, General Secretary CGPWA K B Jandial, its Treasurer O P Sharma, EC members V K Padha & Subash C Sharma, Treasurer BALGRAN Ravinder Gupta, Dr. R. K Khajuria, Col S Jamwal ( Retd) & Mohit Vij. The CGPWA has identified three other spots for intensive cleaning These include Bahu Plaza, Govt Middle School Barnai and Sector 3 of Trikuta Nagar. Different teams have been made for intensive cleanliness with shramdaan. |
