JAMMU, Oct 9: Inner Wheel Club Jammu Tawi organised an Awareness Campaign on Health & Hygiene for the workers of Sanjeevni Beverages factory, Bari Brahmana.
The resource person, Dr. Shivani Gupta, MBBS, MD, delivered an informative lecture on health and personal hygiene and addressed the health issues faced by women workers. Health kits were also distributed to 50 beneficiaries.
On this occasion, Dr. Paramjit Kour also spoke about care of eyes and distributed black glasses for the workers.
Dr. Shivani Gupta and Dr. Paramjit Kour were honoured with planters and club mementos as a token of gratitude.
12 members of the club participated in the project. An amount of Rs. 3000/- was spent on the project, followed by tea.
