DODA, Oct 14: Motor Vehicle Department, led by ARTO, Kuldeep Kumar, has intensified road safety enforcement across Doda town. The MVD team is conducting regular vehicle inspections, fitness checks and document verification drives to ensure strict compliance with traffic rules and prescribed safety standards. The enforcement drive is being carried out on the directions of Transport Commissioner J&K Vishesh Paul Mahajan and Deputy Commissioner Krishan Lal, to improve road safety, ease congestion and promote responsible driving practices. The enforcement team conducted inspections at various key locations across Doda town, including school zones, GMC Road, College Road and other important roads and public areas. Special attention was given to areas witnessing regular movement of students, pedestrians and other road users to promote safer traffic conditions and ensure compliance with road safety regulations. |
