ANANTNAG, Oct 16: The Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA), Anantnag, today organised an awareness programme at Khanabal, Anantnag, to commemorate World Food Day under the theme "Innovate Today, Nourish Tomorrow."
The programme aimed to sensitise stakeholders and the public about the importance of food security, sustainable food management, prevention of food wastage and equitable distribution of essential commodities.
The programme brought together departmental officials, stakeholders and community members to deliberate on key issues concerning food security, nutrition, efficient supply chain management and the need for collective efforts to address hunger and ensure access to food for all sections of society. |
