Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 9: Leaders of the Kargil unit of the National Conference are not happy with the announcement of the party vice president Omar Abdullah to surrender the Ladakh Lok Sabha seat to the Congress. Highly placed sources said leaders of the Kargil have expressed their anger over the decision of the party leadership to leave Ladakh seat for the Congress after both the parties sealed the seat-sharing arrangement on Monday. Sources said that annoyed over the decision of the party leadership, Kargil leaders are going to convene a meeting in the coming days to formally register their protest before the party leadership. “We will interact with our workers at the grassroots to seek their feedback about the unilateral decision of the party high command”, an NC leader told the Early Times. Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 9: A former police constable wanted in a triple murder and drug trafficking here has been arrested, officials said on Monday. According to police, Sadeeque Ali, who is involved in serious crimes in various areas of Jammu region, had been evading arrest after jumping bail during his trial before the Court of the Additional Sessions Judge in Jammu. Ali is a key accused in the triple murder case registered in 2021 in Arnia police station and was also found to be involved in drug trafficking with the charge sheet already submitted to the court, they said. Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 9: Two people were killed and as many were injured on Tuesday when a speeding truck hit their motorcycles on Dhar road in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur district, police said. The victims, aged between 24 and 26 years, were heading for Sukrala Mata temple on two motorcycles to pay their obeisance on the start of ‘Chaitra Navratri’ when they were hit by the Kashmir-bound truck near Dhudar Nallah, a police official said.
