JTC demands filling up of remaining posts | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 4: A meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) was held here today under the Chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita, President of the committee. The meeting was attended by the office bearers and members. SL Pandita said that a memorandum submitted by JTC/SKF on 26-07-2016 regarding the plight of the migrant employees serving in Kashmir valley. Pandita has said that response of the memorandum has been received from Prime Minister's Office under letter No. PMOPG/D/ 2016/0211484 dated 28-07-2016. Pandita has said that the Govt. of India for giving favourable response to the memorandum and processing the same for further necessary action. Pandita has said that since these migrant employees serving in Kashmir valley have been forced to leave Kashmir valley due to subversive activities and tortures to these employees. Pandita has demanded that all these migrant employees need to be attached with Relief Organisation (M) Jammu and ensuring release of their monthly salaries without any further delay. Pandita has also demanded that government should ensure filling of remaining 3800 posts under Prime minister's employment package at an earliest affording opportunity of employment to the educated youth of Kashmiri Pandit migrant community. A demand has been made that government should ensure bringing up of separate township in safe and secure area in Kashmir valley for permanent rehabilitation of the KP/S Migrant community in Kashmir valley to live a dignified life. |
