Forest Minister manages to shift Commissioner Secretary 8/4/2016 11:50:40 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 4: Quick on the heels of administrative reshuffle few days back by State Cabinet, the State Government was forced to issue orders of transfer and posting of three Commissioner Secretaries of IAS rank today without holding any Cabinet meeting by the Forest and Environment Minister. According to high placed sources the Forest Minster who was not present in the Cabinet meeting on July 27 was annoyed over the decision of the Cabinet by not shifting the Commissioner Secretary of his Department. The Minister took a serious exception to the decision of Cabinet in not shifting the Commissioner Secretary of his Department soon after reaching Civil Secretariat two days back and took up the issue with Chief Minster forcefully. The Minster while expressing his resentment in not changing the Commissioner Secretary of his Department demanded that the Officer be immediately shifted and in his place another IAS Officer of his choice be posted at his place. Bowing before the wishes of Forest Minster, the Chief Minster was left with no alternative but to issue the directives to General administrative Department to issue a separate order by transferring Commissioner Secretary Forest Department, sources said. To satisfy the ego of Forest Minister GAD issued transfer orders of three IAS officers on the directives of Chief Minister yesterday, sources added. Sources said the Forest Minister is not the only Cabinet Minister in the State who could not get along with his Commissioner Secretary but recently the other ministers also pressed hard for shifting the Commissioner Secretaries of their organizations as they had no good terms with them.
