Calligraphy competition organized

Jammu, Aug 4: Humanity Public School Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahman Samba conducted calligraphy competition in order to improve presentation skills and to inculcate habit of good handwriting among the students.
Its aim was to encourage the students to write neatly and present the content in proper manner. All the students from class Ist to Xth participated with full enthusiasm and showed excellent creativity through their writing skills. This event was held in view of the changing ways of communication due to growing interest in computers. Handwriting skills have been forgotten and there is 'handwriting crisis' these days. So to overcome these problems this competition is regularly done in the HPS. The winners of the competitions with best handwritings were rewarded with certificates in a short but impressive function held in the morning assembly. In junior category (1st to 5th ) the 3rd prize is won by Amisha of class 5th-B, 2nd Prize is won by two students Mahi of class 1st-B & Priyanka Choudhary of class 3rd-A while the first prize is goes to shagun of class 4th-B.
