Elderly dies, three others injured as minibus rolls down 8/4/2016 10:31:07 PM Jammu, Aug 4: An elderly pedestrian was killed while three others sustained injuries when the minibus skidded off from the road at Tanda near Petrol Pump falling under the jurisdiction of Akhnoor police station. Police sources said, "One minibus bearing registration number JK02S-6629 which was on way from Kapain-De-Bain to Akhnoor turned turtle on the road side at Tanda near Petrol pump and hit a pedestrian identified namely Rattan Lal (76) s/o of Kirpa Ram of Tanda and injuries to to three occupants of the vehicle. The injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Akhnoor for treatment but critically injured pedestrian succumbed to his injuries at SDH Akhnoor while others are undergoing treatment. Quoting some locals, Police sources said that conductor was driving the minibus when accident took place.
