BJP pays tributes to martyrs in Rajouri

Rajouri, Aug 18: As a part of 15 days long celebration programmes of 70th Independence Day of country, Bhartiya Janta Party today paid tributes to martyrs of the nation by lightening 70 candles.
Programme was held in Balidan Bhawan Rajouri which was organised by Rajouri Urban Unit of BJP led by its President Vishal Dutta whereas MLC Vibodh Gupta was chief guest in the programme and many senior party leaders also participated.
Party enlightened 70 candles in the Balidan Bhawan and paid tributes to all the martyrs of Rajouri who laid down their lives which fighting attack of rebellion forces in 1947, fighting militancy during past two decades and for those brave soldiers who laid down their lives in the service of nation.
A two minutes silence was also maintained in the memory of all the martyrs.
Addressing the programme MLC Vibodh Gupta said that those martyrs who laid down their lives in the services of nation and for our safe tomorrow will always remain alive in our heart.
While castigating Pakistan for triggering troubles in India, especially through militancy, Gupta said that the only issue of talks between India and Pakistan is Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.District President Dinesh Sharma said that the 70th Independence Day celebrations through various programmes will obviously enthuse common people to identify themselves with the dreams of Narendra Modi to make India a true great nation. Rajouri Urban unit President of BJP Vishal Dutta also stated that their unit will keep organizing such events for remembering and paying tributes to the martyrs.
