Kathua Aug 18:The Prajapita Brahma Kumaries Ishwariya Viswa Vidyala, Kathua today celebrated Rakhi with religious fervor and enthusiasm. B.K.Veena Didi, Head of Brahma Kumaries Centre of District Kathua along with other sisters of the Centre visited the Mini Secretariate Complex Kathua and tied sacred Rakhi to Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kathua, Dr. Bharat Bhushan . The other officers who were tied Rakhi by B.K Veena Didi included ACR Kathua Jatinder Mishra,Deputy Director,Employment,Dhuni Chand Bhatti,Distt. Informatics Officer,Siddeshwar Bhagat,Asstt.Director,Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Ajay Salan, Tehsildar Kathua, Avtaar Singh Jasrotia and other officials of D.C. office complex, Kathua.
Then B .K Veena tied Rakhi to the Jail immates and Jail officials. She exhorted the inmates to follow the path of righteousness and strive hard to lead pious life. She said that jail inmates are like other humans beings and can contribute fortheir own betterment and that of the society. She earlier tied Rakhi to the Brahma Kumari brothers and sisters in the Vidyala premises. |
