| Shiksha Niketan celebrates Raksha Bandhan | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 18: Shiksha Niketan Sr. Sec. School, Jeevan Nagar today celebrated Raksha Bandhan festival with full enthusiasm and fervor.
A beautiful dance was performed by the students of primary wing on the song of 'Bhaiya Mere Rakhi Ke Bandhan Ko Nibhana'. All the students enjoyed the eye catching performance of the participants.
A Rakhi Making Competition was also held among the students of Class 4th and 5th. A workshop of rakhi making of Class 1st was conducted. Students prepared colourful rakhis using different decorative materials.
A rakhi tieing ceremony was also performed. After that a Kite Flying Competition was also held by the boys of 5th class. Students prepared the kites themselves in a very attractive manner.
At last, the result was announced by the worthy Principal of the school Rame-shwar Mengi Ji. In Rakhi making competition, among the students of Class 4th, the third and second position was bagged by Arpita Chib and Arpan Kour and the first position was secured by Priya. |
