PAPA for reforms in education sector | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 14: People's Action & Public Accountability (PAPA), the non political organization has expressed concern over the rising number of unemployed youth in the state due to the apathy of the successive government. The organization has appealed the Governor of the state to extend the helping hand towards 15000 (fifteen thousand) literate and trained youth i.e. having B.Ed. degree with an immediate effect by way of temporary recruitment at Panchayat/Village level as per order no. 482-edu-of 2014 under RET policy against a salary of at least Rs. 4000/- per month for five years initially. It is pertinent to mention here that by following the said procedure; state government can save crores of rupees as the permanently recruited staffs have to adjust against a salary of at least 25000/- per month while facing lot of uncertainties, it further urged. Moreover, conditions can also be imposed towards temporarily appointed teachers in shape of an undertaking for good performance/results in order to stake claim well. |
