Jammu, Feb 15: BJP has short-listed candidates for Legislative Council elections and names of all influential "outsiders" have been excluded from the list of potential candidates. Despite their pressure, the influential "outsiders" in the BJP have miserable failed to get their names included in the short-listed candidates. Credible sources said that influential "outsiders" have utilized their resources. They even approach their political "God Fathers" at New Delhi but their "God-Fathers" failed to get their names included in the short-listed candidates. Credible sources said that a Union Minister, who is already under fire due his dubious role in Delhi Assembly elections, was patronizing their "outsiders". He has assured them of seats in Legislative Council elections but ultimately he himself failed to help these influential "outsiders". Instead of supporting these "outsiders" the Union Minister played very safe and got name of one of "Man Friday's" name included in the short-listed candidates. This Minister's "Man Friday" is claiming to the very very close to the Union Minister and usually gives an impression to the people that he has proximity with the Union Minister. Credible sources said that PDP has decided to give five seats to the BJP including three seats from Jammu, one from Leh and one from Kashmir Valley. BJP leadership has decided to give tickets only those people who have been associated with the party since long. On three seats of Jammu province, party is likely to give mandates only dedicated workers, who have been associated with party for the last so many years. For one seat of Kashmir Valley, BJP likely to give ticket to a newly inducted leader and Darakshan Andrabi is front runner for that seat. |
