Army handovers computers to Govt High School Doomi | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 17: A Malpur based Army Unit, handed over computers and Information Technology equipment to the Government High School, Doomi, tehsil Akhnoor on Tuesday. To improve the Information Technology training infrastructure of the schools is one of the prime focuses of projects being conducted by the Army. Keeping this in view, the Army unit of Nagrota based Artillery brigade took it upon itself to provide these items to the school in village Malpur of Akhnoor tehsil. On the occasion numerous Army and Civil officials, Zonal Education officer and villagers were present. Addressing the gatherings, the chief guest said that the Army remains committed to extend its full support to the school. Zonal Education Officer and the Principal Sunita Kumari thanked the Indian Army for their concerted efforts in providing such facilities in the remote areas of J&K. Civil officials present in the function said that such steps by the Army for upliftment of infrastructure in terms of education in remote areas of J&K was highly praise worthy. |
