ABVP welcomes impartial decision of JU VC | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 17: Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) welcomed the impartial decision of Jammu University Vice Chancellor Professor RD Sharma against the head of Dogri Department and other three scholars including Sunny Babbar of statistics, Gopal Singh of Dogri and Manzoor Ahamd of History Department. According to press release, Sandeep Sharma member of ABVP said that the group of JURSEA headed by its president Sukhdev Singh was constantly involved in misguiding and misleading the students and scholars by protesting and agitating against VC without any facts and figures. He also demanded strict action against all those who were involved in damaging the reputation of Jammu University. Jang Bahadur Singh said that ABVP accepts the decision made by the enquiry committee which was constituted on Feb 11, 2015 in which the action has been taken on preliminary report of University committee headed by Dean Academic Affairs, Professor Neelam Saraf. He further said that the decision acts as an indication that no such incidents will be taken lightly and that the future of this esteemed institution is safe in the hands of our Vice Chancellor. Lokinder Singh, Vishal, Anil, Deepak, Ankit, Harsh and Arun were also present on the occcasion. |
