| Panthers Party' paid tributes to Rajinder Puri | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 17: Several NPP activists held a meeting under the chairmanship of Professor Bhim Singh, its Chief Patron the morning at the lawns of Vithalbhai Patel House to condole the most unfortunate demise of Shri Rajinder Puri, a noted cartoonist and human rights activist in the country. NPP also expressed its condolences to the family and friends of Rajinder Puri and prayed for peace to the departed soul in the heavens. Prof. Bhim Singh described him as one of the great revolutionaries who believed that revolution is possible through the might of the pen and he tried this for nearly half a century. "Rajinder Puri was highly influenced by the noble thought and superb cultural communication which everyone who knew him or interacted with him could feel and share", Bhim said, adding that in his death, all his friends and well-wishers, have lost a great soul, a great friend, a noble heart and the rarest of the rear human being. Friends in India International Centre shall miss him most. |
