| RET Forum holds monthly meet, pleas newly govt. to clear SSA salary | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 1: A monthly meeting of All J&K RET teachers Forum on Sunday held at Krishna Palace Udhampur under the chairmanship of State President Vinod Sharma and district. President Lekh Raj Parihar.
According to press release, the meeting was attended by the Executive body members of RET Forum from all the eleven zones of the district.
While speaking on the occasion, Vinod Sharma on behalf of RET Teachers Forum welcome the newly formed State Govt. and appealed to newly formed State Govt. to settle the issue of pending salary of Regularized RET Teachers under SSA who are without salary for last 4-10 months in all the Districts of the State and are facing a lot of problems to meet out their basic family needs like Medicines, Food and others.
He further said that though they have been projecting this issue from bottom to top for last one year but still the RET Teachers under SSA are waiting for their salaries helplessly which is the only mean to survive. He hoped that the newly coalition Govt. would settle this issue by releasing funds under SSA in order to clear the some months' salary of SSA Teachers so that they may be able to come out of desperation due to non-release of their salaries.
Lekh Raj Parihar while speaking urged the Chief Education Officer Udhampur to make provision for the release of mid-day meals grant to clear the liability for the session 2014-15
