| Fresh avalanche warning in Kargil for next 24 hrs | | |

Srinagar, Mar 1: A fresh weather warning has been issued in avalanche-prone areas in the border town of Kargil in Ladakh region, where moderate to heavy snowfall is predicted during the next 24 hours. The Deputy Commissioner Kargil has advised people not to venture out in avalanche prone areas during heavy snowfall. \"Keep cleaning the snow deposition from roof tops of the houses and bankers to avoid any untoward incident during the snowfall,\" he said, adding that people are also advised to temporarily evacuate from those locations which are under the line of avalanche. |
