Delegation meets Education Minister, submits memorandum | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 21: A delegation of School Education officers, employees, co-ordination committee led by its provincial president Amar Nath Thakur submitted a memorandum of demands to Education Minister in the civil Secretariat for earliest solution. The main demands mentioned in the memorandum were regularization of Incharge officers of school education department i.e Joint Directors, CEOs, Principals, ZEOs, Lecturers and Headmasters in the case titled Suraj Prakash Gupta Vs State and Others and General Administration Department directions under SRO166 dated 14.6.2005, SRO-481 dated 30.12.2010 of School Education Department & GAD Order No. 743-GAD of 2007 dated 28.6.2007. As more than 3000 I/C Officers, I/C Lecturers of various subjects and 1000 retired I/c Officers are not regularized since long which is unfair, injustice and violation of rules. left out and seniority cases of I/C Lecturers in economics and other subjects pending for DPC clearance may be cleared at the earliest by convening the DPC meeting. Regular meetings of DPC may be ensured for providing speedy justice to all I/C Officers of the department. Filling of all vacant posts of Principals, ZEOs, Lecturers and Headmasters ,Directions to DSE Jammu & Kashmir to submit all cases of incharge officers and Incharge Lecturers along with their files and relevant documents for regularization through DPC/Cabinet decision as per performa. Creation of human resource management cell in the School education department at directorate level for speedy filling of promotion quota vacancies of all cadres and regularization well in time. Rational transparent transfer policy for teaching staff may be implemented strictly. |
