| Workshop on ‘good governance’ organized | | |  Early Times Report
Kathua, Apr 21: The 10th National Civil Services Day was observed at DC Office Complex here at Kathua today. A workshop on the theme of good governance was held in which officers of different departments participated in the workshop.
DC Excise, ADC Kathua Mushtaq Ahmed, ACR Kathua Atul Gupta, ACD Kathua Sunil Sharma, SDM Billawar R.S Charak, AD Planning and others officers were present on the occasion. While speaking on the occasion ADC Kathua Mushtaq Ahmed said that the purpose of celebrating Civil Services Day is to rededicate and recommit themselves for the cause of the people. He said the motto of deliverance of Civil Services this year is "Minimum Government, Maximum Governance". ADC Kathua said it is a matter of great pride that DDC Kathua Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary is being conferred with Civil Services award by Hon'ble Prime Minister of India Narinder Modi. He said this rare feat will further inspire others to work with more dedication in the interest of public.
CEO LSDA Dr Bharat Bhushan gave a PowerPoint Presentation on civil services day, stressed upon the need to relook the approach while delivering to the common people through government schemes, programmes and services to ease out their difficulties. |
