Ex-CPSWA holds meeting | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 21: All J&K Ex-Central Paramilitary Services Welfare Association (CPSWA) including veer Naris and dependents holding a get-together at R.S. Pura today to celebrate its Annual Day under the chairmanship of its president K.C. Bhagat. The occasion was graced by Minister Chering Dorjay including MLA Sham Choudhary and MLA Dr Gagan Bhagat were the guest of honour who shared joys with oldies. During the meeting, the association leaders apprised them about the issues and problems being faced by the retired central paramilitary ever they have approached Union Home Minister Raj Nath Singh, Jatinder Singh Minister PMO and Prime Minister Narender Modi and apprised the same but nothing has been done on the ground so far. They also apprised the dignitaries about their demands vis-Ã -vis revision of pension pre and post 2006 and 2012 retirees by honoring the apex court decisions, one rank one pension, ex-servicemen status, and martyr status to soldiers killed in action/on duty, enhancement of Medical Allowance from Rs. 500/- to Rs. 2000/- as Rs. 500/- is inadequate to meet the Medical expenses and other demands. General Secretary Darshan Kumar, Ram Lal and others were also present on the occasion. |
