Dogra Front stages protest demonstration | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 21: The worker of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena took out a procession in Resham Garh by holding empty utensils on their shoulders and empty bottles in their hands against the black marketing and non availability of ration in city and rural areas. According to press release, the protesters claimed that the negligence on the end of the CAPD was so high that the only responsibility with the department was to supply ration to the dealers with the tie up with the FCI but CAPD has not been able to do that much. To highlight the alleged negligence, irregularities and irresponsible attitude in making the proper ration distribution and keeping the genuine BPL card holders away from their allotted ration quota, a large number of registered consumers, the protesters observed. The protesters said that the department of CAPD has been taking such decisions which instead of providing any relief to the poor population, has been creating more problems for the already suffering people. They demanded from CAPD Minister Zulfkar Ali to take up matter with the Union Food and supply Minister and added that the 5 liters of kerosene oil to the family was not sufficient and demanded for increase in the kerosene oil on per ration card to 30 liters per month to each family. |
