| RBI interacts with entrepreneurs to intensify corporate sector | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, May 14: Reserve Bank of India conducted day long workshop to interact with entrepreneurs hailing from district Kathua with the aim to intensify corporate sector and minimize their several problems being during funding assistance by different banks.
While interacting with media, AK Mattu, General Manager of RBI Jammu circle, said RBI frequently organizes such interaction to strengthen corporate sector as economy of the country can’t be developed without strengthening corporate sector. He said RBI tries to reduce problems being faced by entrepreneur while taking loans from different banks.
Mattu said RBI used to organize such workshops in previous days in Basohli in district Kathua and plan to organize similar workshop in Srinagar and Leh in days to come. He said RBI has instructed banks to reduce norms for funding Micro small medium enterprises.
Mattu said the instructions have been passed on banks to finalize the loan process within time limit.
He said there is totally relaxation in loans process for unemployed and central sponsored schemes like PMRY etc
Entrepreneurs actively participated in the workshop and raised several problems being faced by them during seeking financial help from banks which were epitomized by RBI General Manager. |
