Jammu, May 14: The half yearly Mail of All India Bhau biradari is likely to be held on May 16. President, Bhau biradari, Balbir Singh Bhau has appealed all the community members to present in large on May 16 at ‘Dev Sthan’ Khouara (Khour) of Baba Acho ji Maharaj to seek blessings of the Baba. Bhau further said that on May, 16, people from other communities will also participate to seek blessings of Baba Acho ji Maharaj.
General Secretary of All India Bhau Biradari, Narendra Singh Bhau, further speaking about the Mail said that a havan programme will be organized in the morning period and in the afternoon activities related to Baba Acho ji Maharaj carried out in the recent past will be discussed threadbare at the Dev Sthan.
One narcotics smuggler held with 46kg of ‘Bhukki’

Jammu, May 14: Police claimed to have arrested a narcotics smuggler during a naka at Bye-pass under Bagh-e-Bahu Police Post and recovered 46 Kg. Poppy Straw (Bukhi) from his possession.
“The accused has been identified namely as Nek Ram (driver) s/o Pinju Ram r/o Kodga Dansal, Jammu, police sources said.
Police sources said, “On specific input, Police Party from P/S Bagh-e-Bahu laid a surprised naka under the supervision of SHO Bagh-e-Bahu Jasbeer Singh and SDPO Narwal Rafiq Manhas at Bye-pass, Jammu and intercepted one vehicle (load carrier) bearing registration no: JK03D-3042.”
“During through search of vehicle, the police party recovered 46 Kg Poppy Straw (Bukhi) from the vehicle which he was carrying illegally, police sources said, adding, “the accused was arrested on the spot.”
In this regard a case FIR No. 35/2015 U/S 8/15 NDPS Act has been registered and further investigation of the case is going on. |
