Arrested outside examination hall Kulgam student flees with answer sheet.......... 5/15/2015 12:11:40 AM Saahil Suhail Early Times Report Kulgam, May 14: A Class-12 student was today arrested after he fled from the exam center along with the answer sheet in Damhal-Hanjipora area of Kulgam district. Eyewitness told Early Times that Nisar Ahmad Rather s/o Ghulam Ahmad Rather resident of Khurbatpora DHPora fled from the exam center located at Government higher secondary school DH-Pora and started writing answer sheet outside the school building. They said that writing answer sheet outside the school grabbed the attention of few onlookers who later apprehended the student and called local police station. “A group of people apprehended the student while writing answer sheet outside the examination center and ringed police station which later arrived at the spot and arrested the youth,” a local Mohammad Amin said. He said that police initially hesitated in registering an FIR against the student but later succumbed under public pressure and booked the student. Station House Officer, DH Pora Hyder Ali confirmed to Early Times that they have arrested the student. “Yes we arrested a student who fled with answer sheet from the exam center. We have recovered the answer sheet from his possession,” SHO said. He said that they have started investigating the matter by registering an FIR 43/2015 against the student and are also probing the role of examination staff of the exam center that allegedly allowed student to flee.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
