Two bovine smuggling bids foiled, 31 bovines rescued | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 14: Police claimed to have foiled two bovine smuggling bids and rescued 31 bovine animals besides seizing two trucks which were being used by the smugglers to transport the animals illegally. “During the intervening night of May 13/14, the I/C PP Digiana alongwith Police Party on naka duty at Rani Talab, Jammu intercepted two trucks bearing registration nos: JK02BF-4921 and JK02T-1642,” police sources said. They said, “On search of vehicles, Police Party rescued 31 bovine animals which were being transported from Jammu to Srinagar without any permission. In this regard, a case FIR No. 124/2015 U/S 188 RPC, 3 PC Act has been registered at P/S Gandhi Nagar and further investigation of the case is going on. |
