Jammu, May 14: Birthday of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, a renowned spiritual Guru and the founder of International Art of Living Foundation, was celebrated with gaiety and fervour all over the country and most of 156 countries worldwide in which Art of Living has the presence today.
According to press release, the Art of Living-Jammu Chapter organised several programmes, in tune with the organisation ideology of Sadhna, Seva and Satsang, to commemorate the occasion.
A mesmerising concert of divine music was organised in the evening at Gurukul Event Centre, Akhnoor Road Jammu which was attended by a very large number of people from all walks of life.
Besides, a small meditation session, it included a performance by Rajshree ji, a renowned singer from Kolkata, who kept the gathering enchanted with her rendition of blissful bhajans. The devotees were exhilarated experiencing divine energy generated in the satsang. Earlier, Sudershan Kriya- a rthymic breathing exercise evolved by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, was organised at all four centres of AOL across Jammu, which was attended by a very large number of followers of the revered Guru. |
