VC KAB adopts Middle School Jourian | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 14: Vice Chairman, Kissan Advisory Board, Jammu and Kashmir, Daljeet Singh Chib has adopted Middle School Jourian. A programme was organized in Government Middle School Jourian wherein Chib was present as the Chief Guest. Other members of the Middle School Committee who accompanied Chib were Choudhary Prakash Singh, P.D. Sharma, Rano Devi and others. Sharing memories of the past, Chib said that he was an active member of the Government Middle school and the deteriorating condition of the school make him feel embarrassed to adopt it on the pattern of play way schools. “Only those parents are sending their children to Government schools who don’t have that much to pay otherwise an average family is sending their children to Private school which is a major embarrassment for the legislators as well as the government machinery as, till date, the standards of Government schools have not improved”, Daljeet said adding he will provide all the facilities to the Government Middle School Jourian on the pattern of modern play way schools. Daljeet further said that well qualified teachers who are getting hefty amount from government are working in the Governent schools but the results of the Government schools have not improved as of now which has raised question mark over the functioning of the Education department. “Such is the condition of government schools that against 10 students, there are 15 teachers who are bothered only about their salaries and not the future of this country”, added Daljeet. He appealed all the legislators to adopt one or two schools in their constituency for a major change in future. |
