HC directs DGP, ADGP to restore security Withdrawal of Security of Azad's sister 5/15/2015 12:21:32 AM Early Times Report Jammu, May 14: In a petition filed by Shakeela Begum sister of Ghulam Nabi Azad (leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha and former CM J&K) seeking direction to respondents to restore her security cover in shape of PSOs which has been withdrawn on April 20, 2015, the Justice Bansi Lal Bhat of J&K High Court Jammu Wing issued notice to Home Secretary J&K, DGP, ADGP Security and Ors returnable within two weeks and in the meanwhile directed DGP & ADG Security to restore 2 PSOs withdrawn from the security of the petitioner. In her petition, the petitioner had submitted that she is younger sister of Ghulam Nabi Azad leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha and former CM J& K state and all the family members of GN Azad including the petitioner are facing threat to their lives as his brother is in active politics for the last more than three decades as he (Azad) has been playing a pro-active role in the restoration of peace and normalcy in turbulent state of J&K. The petitioner also had submitted that the withdrawal of security cover the petitioner and her family members have been exposed to the anti-national elements who are inimical towards them being blood relations of Ghulam Nabi Azad.
