Girls Zonal Level Inter-School Tournament begins at Bhaderwah 5/15/2015 12:28:29 AM BHADERWAH, May 14 : After the commencement of various games for boys, DYSS Doda organised Zonal Level Inter-School Tournament of Bhaderwah Zone for Under-14 and Under-17 girls in the disciplines of kabaddi, kho-kho, wrestling and volleyball, at the play ground of Govt Hr Sec School girls , Bhaderwah today. Tehsildar Bhaderwah, Bashir -Ul-Hussan , was the chief guest on the occasion while ZPO Bhaderwah, Pritam Singh was the guest of honour on the inaugural function and a large number of locals were also present on the occasion. While addressing the students, Tehsildar Bhaderwah threw light on the importance of games and physical activities. He advised the students to use their energy in a positive manner with the help of games. He said that state government was committed in providing international level sports and infrastructure and other facilities to the sports persons and coaches everywhere. He said that the DYSS is taking all necessary initiatives for the promotion and development of sports in the Bhaderwah which is a healthy step . He also said that Bhaderwah is best destination for organizing sports events in view of its weather conditions, especially during the summer months when most parts of the district Doda have heat wave conditions. He appreciated the efforts of the organizers for selecting the venue for holding such an important championship. He congratulated the winning team and insisted the organizers to hold regular events in different categories to promote this game, especially amongst the children in the Bhaderwah . A pledge ceremony was held in which players took oath to observe true spirit of sportsmanship and discipline.
