DC Jammu visits Sainik School Nagrota 6/12/2015 9:49:40 PM Early Times Report Jammu, June 12 : On the fourth day of the North Zone Inter Sainik School Sports Meet-2015 being held at Sainik School Nagrota, the hosts scored a spectacular win over Sainik School Sujanpur Tira by 4-1 in Junior Football. It was a delightful treat from young Nagrotians to Simranjeet Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Jammu who visited his alma mater Sainik School Nagrota and witnessed Football, Volleyball and Hockey matches that were held simultaneously in different playfields of the school. The visiting dignitary was thoroughly impressed by the progress and perceptible improvements made by the school in recent years and lauded the school administration for the same. Col KD Koushal, Principal presented a school souvenir to the Guest of Honour as a token of remembrance. In their third league match in Basketball, Nagrotians defeated Sainik School Ghorakhal (69-53) and will play against Kapurthala in the final league match to decide the North Zone Basketball Championship-2015. In Volleyball, the hosts scored a convincing 3-0 win over Sainik School Kapurthala and Ghorakhal and sealed the Runners-up position.
