Locals protest over alleged issuance of RBA certificates to illegitimate 6/12/2015 11:07:30 PM Early Times Report Basholi, June 12: Residents of Sananghat, Dhar Jankhar Panchayat today staged protest demonstration against alleged issuance of certificates to blue eyed person who are living in urban and metropolis cities but had purchased land in remotest areas to get benefit of RBA certificate for vested interests including govt jobs. According to Raj Kumar, a social activist of area, the agitated locals staged demonstration against the alleged irregularities in issuance of RBA certificate and also blocked Basohli- Kathua road. he said the protestors also submitted memorandum to DDC Kathua, SDM & Tehsildar Basohli demanding scrutiny of voters' lists to curb issuance of RBA certificates to unlawful aspirants but nothing yet has been done on ground level. He said a deputation of locals called on Tehsildar Basohli who assured to initiate inquiry but still it is vain. Another local Prem Singh threatened to block Kathua- Basohli road again on June 24 if their demands are not met. He also said that various adjoining Panchayats too have announced support to agitation against fake RBA certificate holders.
