'Sunny Baba' manhandled in court premises, hospitalized 6/12/2015 11:22:48 PM Early Times Report Jammu, June 12: Sumit Choudary alias Sunny Baba, who is facing trial in much hyped Amandeep murder case was assaulted by two of his fellow detainees in court here on Thursday. Sources said that the incident took place when Sunny Baba was attending a court hearing today when fellow detainee Gurdev Singh alias Danchi and Sadaam Hussain attacked Sunny Baba with his 'Kadda' (an iron bracelet). "Though the assaulter was overpowered promptly by the policemen but Sunny received injuries on his head during the melee, sources said, adding, "He was rushed to the Government Hospital Sarwal where after treatment he was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu for due medical observation, sources maintained. Following today's assault incident, a fresh case stands registered against Gurdev Singh alias Danchi and Sadaam Hussain u/s 341 and 323 of RPC at Police Station Janipur. Pertinently, Sunny Baba had become police witness and confessed the name of his associates involved in 'Supari killing' of Amandeep murder case. This is not the first time when Sunny Baba had scuffle in court premises as earlier in number of times he had scuffle (either he had attacked or he was attacked) with other detainees and even some policemen during his previous hearings..   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
