CM unhappy over Kashmir bandh on Rajouri incident | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 26: The Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed has reportedly expressed his concern and disapproval over the bandh observed in the Srinagar over the incident in Rajouri. The CM had reportedly told the Kashmir Chamber and other business organizations that it will only add to the tension between the two regions and could hurt the business in the Kashmir, which has already been hit by the floods . The bandh was observed in the Kashmir on Saturday over the burning of the ISISI flags, which incidentally had religious verses, for which the minority community had even apologized and both communities had resolved the matter amicably. However, certain elements in the Kashmir decided to call for a bandh, despite the appeal and intervention of the Cabinet Minister Chowdhary Zulfiqar, a local of the area, that matter had been resolved. "The business organizations in Srinagar are not tuned to the ground realities, where only one community lives unlike in Jammu where both communities are living in harmony. Such provocation could have an adverse affect on the harmony of the region," the CM has reportedly said. The business organizations were also communicated that such hard and aggressive posturing could affect the business in the Kashmir as most of the stuff made here is exported out and business is heavily dependent on the Jammu, where incidentally the people in Kashmir had made heavy investments . CM had suggested that people of the Kashmir should not interfere and seem to be interfering in the affairs of the Jammu region, and rather work for building the relations for which the government is working. |
