| Jammu-Srinagar NH reopens for traffic | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 24: The Jammu-Srinagar national highway which was closed due to the landslides has been open for smooth vehicular movement.
"The road was cleared by the BRO men while on the directions of the traffic police department, the national highway was made open for the traffic," a police spokesman here today said.
He said that the stranded vehicles are allowed to move towards their destinations both ways. "Traffic is smoothly plying on the highway," he added. Jammu-Srinagar national highway was blocked on Tuesday evening due to landslides and shooting stones at four locations in Ramban district following rains. |
