Jammu, Sept 24: Police today arrested a person and recovered a sharp edged weapon (Toka) from his possession during naka in R S Pura in the city outskirts. police have registered a case in this regard. "The accused has been identified as Balwant Raj @ Laden s/o Devia r/o Shera Chak , Suchetgarh, police said. Police said that the catch was made by SHO POlice Station R S Pura Bushan Manhas. As per Police reports, during nakka checking police team intercepted a vehicle Mahindra bearing regd no JK02M-9381, driven by one notorious criminal Balwant Raj@ Laden s/o Devia r/o Shera Chak, Suchetgarh.
During his personal frisking police recovered a sharp edged weapon (Tokka) from his possession and was thus arrested on the spot.olice said a case under FIR No 148/15 u/s 4/25 Arms Act against the accused. |
