Inundated HSS building turns into 'pool', affects academics | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwsr Sept 24: Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Boys Kishtwar having over 300 students on roll is facing 'unscheduled break' following recent rains which apparently had turned the school to a 'pond'. According to aggrieved students and locals, the school building has became a 'pond' after the region witnessed heavy rains for the two days and the water-logged Higher Secondary School building is now presenting a sordid look with water everywhere. "There is no proper drainage system in this school and it has become routine in the school whenever it rains the students don't come to school as school becomes a pond. Meanwhile Randeep Bhandari an activist and youth leader has demand the district administration to look into the matter and ensure de-drudge system for the school so that the academic session do not get affected. |
