DDC observes Heritage Week 11/21/2015 10:43:36 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 21 : Dogra Degree College observed Heritage Week by taking out march from their college premises towards Bahu Fort (Heritage Site of Jammu). As per press release, to embark the Heritage week, Thakur Gulchain Singh Charak Chairman DET, Kunwar Samar Dev Singh Charak, Director cum administration for campus development SC Khajuria and Principal Poonam Gupta told the students the need to preserve our heritage so that it can be passed from one generation to another. Then, the students along with the faculty members left the college at 10:00 am and reached Bahu Fort at 11:00 am. There Students, clicked various pictures of the fort and made themselves aware about the history and myths associated with the fort. Students took out Heritage walk with the banners and slogans carrying the message of perseverance of Heritage sites.
