| Bharat Scouts & Guides organizes Inter School symposium | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, Nov 21: An Inter School Symposium competition was organized by Bharat Scouts And Guides Udhampur in which large number of students participated in the symposium
ID Soni State Commissioner Bharat Scouts & Guides) attended the occasion as chief guest while a galaxy of eminent citizens were also marked their presence at this inaugural function.
The programme started with lighting of traditional lamp by Chief Guest I D Soni State Commissioner Bharat Scouts & Guides followed by the debate contest on topics viz. 'Role of S&G to bring peace and harmony in country and world; Why do we need Swachh Bharat?; Beti Bachao ,Beti Padhao and Is corruption free Indian possible?"
Atleast 100 students from different schools including BVMHS Udhampur , Prashant Public School, Common Public School, Ever Green Model Academy School, Happy Model Hr Sec School, Amandeep Public high School Jakhani and etc participated in this contest and spokes on various subjects.
In his address the chief guest I.D Soni said that every student in the life gain the bookish knowledge but scouts & Guides made children the idea human beings. "it is the demand of the present time that there must be changes in education system i.e. moral education should be included in the school education, he underscored and added that 'scouting' makes a person morally strong and cooperative in the life.
He encouraged the students to participate in the S&G Activities apart from their daily education.
A panel of judges including Bansi Lal Gupta Rtd Field Publicity Officer adjudged Rishav from BVMHS Udhampur as first, Ishtayaq Ahmed from Prashant Public School Udhampr as second and Akarshan Mehra from Happy Model Hr Sec School as third respectively under Scouts category whereas Riffat from Ever Green Model Academy Udhampurand ; Kaja Bharti of Prashant Public School Udh and Himanshi Sharma of Common Public School Udh were declared as top three winners respectively.
At the end of program Principal of host school presented vote of thanks. The program was held under the supervision of Smt Renu Sharma (Pr BVM H/S Udhampur) and scout master Jiwan Singh. |
