RAMBAN, Nov 21: Hundreds of RET teachers led by their district unit of J&K RET Teachers' Forum leader, Gulzuber Deng held a protest demonstration at the Ramban district headquarter in support of their demands.
After gathering at the Tourist Bungalow, Ramban they marched to the CEO,office and submitted their memorandum to the CEO, Ramban, Mohd. Sharief Chauhan. And then later they marched to the office of the office of the DDC,Ramban, Bashir Ahmed Dar where in his absence ,the Asstt. Commissioner,Revenue, Vivek Puri was handed over the memorandum of their demands.
Both the officers assured the protesters that their memorandum would be forwarded to the concerned higher authorities hopefully for a favourable action. ACR, Vivek Puri assured the protesters the protesters that on Monday he would discuss the matter with the DDC, Ramban in presence of their leaders for an early solution of this long protracted vexed issue. |
