RR donates furniture to school 11/21/2015 11:38:32 PM Early Times Report Doda Nov.21: Under the aegis of Counter Insurgency Force (Delta), the Rashtriya Rifles located at Bhadarwah, District Doda donated various items of furniture to Govt New Primary School, Dussala, Bhadarwah today, under project Operation Sadhbhavana for the Financial Year 2015-16. A majority of population in Bhaderwah region resides in remote areas is devoid of basic amenities and infrastructure. During interaction with the locals, the Headmaster of the school expressed that presently this school is facing acute shortage of furniture, hence has requested the Army for provision of the same. In order to spread education amongst underprivileged students of remote areas and to gain trust of local population, a need is felt for provisioning of furniture to this school under the project Operation Sadhbhavana for the financial year 2015-16. This project will be of immense help to the school authorities in imparting quality education to the students of this remote area. The noble effort of Rashtriya Rifles in general area was immensely appreciated by one and all. The furniture distribution ceremony was inaugurated by Arun Kumar Sharma, Sarpanch, Manthala in presence of Katar Singh, Chairman Village Committee, Suresh Kumar, Headmaster, teachers, students, a number of ex-servicemen and local population.
