UDHAMPUR, Nov 21: Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) Udhampur organized an awareness programme on the theme "Mobile off and Seat belt on" for drivers on Road Safety at General bus stand, Manwal here today. While speaking on the occasion, Inspector MVD, Sunil Cannie said that drivers should adopt several safety measures while driving, which would prove helpful to avoid many accidents and save lot of precious lives. The Inspector said that most of the accidents occur due to use of cell phones while driving, rash driving, drunken driving, listening music etc. He advised to follow the road safety rules to minimize road accidents. |
