Jammu, Nov 21 : The two days international Conference on "Research and Innovations in Science, Engineering and Technology: RISET 2015" the first of its kind in J&K, was concluded at Yogananda College of Engineering & Technology (YCET). Prof. Ashok Aima, Vice Chancellor, Central University of Jammu was the Chief Guest and the Guests of Honour for the valedictory function included Jai Kumar Sharma, Director, CDC, Dr. Meenakshi Kilam, Director, DIQA, University of Jammu, and Sanjeev Mahajan, Controller of Exams. University of Jammu. Dr Seema Narain, Convener, RISET 2015, welcomed, the Chief Guest, the Guests of Honour and other dignitaries on this momentous occasion. Prof. Ashok Aima, Chief Guest, appreciated the efforts of Jamwal Group of Educational Institutions and Yogananda College of Engineering & Technology (YCET) in particular for organizing the international conference RISET 2015 in Jammu. Prof. Aima, highlighted the role of emerging technologies in shaping the destiny of the humankind and bring quality changes. He called for greater thrust in research and scientific endeavours and create industry institute partnership for sustainable and growth oriented society. Dr. Meenakshi Kilam, Director, DIQA, University of Jammu, stressed the need for innovations and research in technology, She congratulated the organizing committee members of the international conference RISET:2015 for accomplishing this unique initiative.
