GDC Udhampur organizes awareness lecture on HIV-AIDS 11/21/2015 11:46:00 PM Jammu, Nov 21 : The NSS Units and Red Ribbon Club of Government Degree College Udhampur organized an awareness lecture on the topic "HIV-AIDS: Its Causes & Preventions". Dr. Chander Parkash, Chief Medical Officer Udhampur was the resource person. He deliberated in detail about the causes and preventions of this disease and he cautioned the students not to involve themselves in unethical acts which society does not permit. He also explained in detail about the healthy life style and advised them to inculcate the healthy life practices in their lives. The students actively participated and raised many queries which he explained to their satisfaction. On this occasion Vishal Sharma, Department of Zoology also gave a power point presentation reflecting the causes and preventions of AIDS. On this occasion the Principal of the College Prof. S.S Bhalwal advised the students to live a disciplined and healthy life.
