TNWS discusses civic problems | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 21: Joint Commissioner, JMC, R S Jamwal visited Trikuta Nagar Welfare Society office on its request to interact with the residents of Trikuta Nagar to have the first hand information of the civic and other problems being faced by the residents. Members of the TNWS highlighted difficulties being faced by the residents of the colony which included providing of medium size Dustbins for disposal of domestic waste, providing proper covered garbage dumpers at suitable points and regular removal of garbage, repairing of damaged street lights, providing new street lights at vulnerable points, repair of non-working High Mast Lights at main Road Crossings and providing of two more High Mast lights at busy dark spots, repairs to very badly damaged drains as seepage of water through these drains is very badly affecting the houses along these drains, black Topping of badly damaged lanes and by-lanes, clearance of 3-Barsati Nallahs running right across Trikuta Nagar which have become great garbage dumping place and creating extremely un hygienic conditions. R.S.Jamwal ,Joint Comr, JMC gave a very patient hearing and discussed the whole matter threadbare assuring them to mitigate the problems raised within his financial limits. Jamwal sought the cooperation of the residents and TNWS to help JMC to keep the colony clean to strengthen Prime Minister's 'Swachhta Abhiyaan'. |
