Jammu, Nov 21: O P Sharma, well known Painter and Photo- Journalist presently working as Director, J&K Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu was invited by Indian Academy of Fine Arts, Amritsar as Jury member for the forth coming 81st All India Art Exhibition 2015 being inaugurated on 21st November, 2015 at Padamshree Thakar Singh Gallery of the Academy.
More than three hundred entries by the artists of the country in different disciplines of visual art forms were scrutinized and best entries were selected for awarding the artists. Ten awards in the field of painting, sculpture, drawing, graphics and photography were decided by the Jury consisting of well known artists in the country. Madan Lal a well known painter from Chandigarh and Gopal Kirodiwal a well known painter from Amritsar were other two members of the panel of the jury for the exhibition. S. Shiv Dev Singh a well known sculptor from Amritsar was the coordinator of the event.
O P Sharma has the experience of working as Exhibition officer and Deputy Secretary (Culture), J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages, Jammu, and Public Relations Officer in the J&K Legislative Council. |
